Dr. Subhas Mukhopadhyay

Subhas holds a B.E.E. (gold medallist), M.E.E., Ph.D. (India) and Doctor of Engineering (Japan). He has over 30+ years of teaching, industrial and research experience. He is working as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia and is the Discipline Leader of the Mechatronics Engineering Degree Programme. His fields of interest include Smart Sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation techniques, wireless sensors and network, Internet of Things, etc. He has supervised over 40 postgraduate students and over 100 Honours students. He has examined over 50 postgraduate theses. He has published over 450 papers in different international journals and conference proceedings, written nine books and forty book chapters and edited seventeen conference proceedings. He has also edited thirty books with Springer-Verlag and twenty four journal special issues. He has organized over 20 international conferences as either General Chairs/co-chairs or Technical Programme Chair. He has delivered 359 presentations including keynote, invited, tutorial and special lectures. He is a Fellow of IEEE (USA), a Fellow of IET (UK), a Fellow of IETE (India), a Topical Editor of IEEE Sensors journal, and an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council from 2017 to 2022. He is the Founding chair of IEEE Sensors Council NSW chapter. More details can be available at :

Dr. S R Mahadeva Prasanna

S. R. M. Prasanna obtained his PhD in CSE from IIT Madras in 2004, MTech in Industrial Electronics from NITK Surathkal in 1997, and BE in Electronics from SSIT Tumakuru (then Bangalore University) in 1994. He was faculty member in the Dept of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati from August 2004 to July 2017. From July 2017 onwards he is Professor in the Dept of Electrical Engineering, and Dean (Faculty Welfare, Research and Development) at IIT Dharwad. He has supervised 19 PhD Theses in the speech and handwriting processing area, and published about 250 research articles in the national and international journals and conferences. His areas of research interest include speech and handwriting processing

Dr.Valentina E. Balas

Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 350 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national, international projects and PhD Thesis. Dr. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations, Programs and Projects in the same university. She served as General Chair of the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications (SOFA) in eight editions 2005-2020 held in Romania and Hungary. Dr. Balas participated in many international conferences as Organizer, Honorary Chair, Session Chair and member in Steering, Advisory or International Program Committees. She is a member of EUSFLAT, SIAM and a Senior Member IEEE, member in TC – Fuzzy Systems (IEEE CIS), chair of the TF 14 in TC – Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), member in TC – Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS). Dr. Balas was past Vice-president (Awards) of IFSA International Fuzzy Systems Association Council (2013-2015), is a Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM), - A Multidisciplinary Academic Body, India and recipient of the "Tudor Tanasescu" Prize from the Romanian Academy for contributions in the field of soft computing methods (2019).

Dr. Sunit Kumar Sen

SUNIT KUMAR SEN, is an Ex-Professor of the Department of AppliedPhysics, Instrumentation Engineering, University of Calcutta. He obtained his B Sc (Physics Honors) from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in1972 and B Tech and M Tech degrees in Instrumentation Engineeringfrom University of Calcutta in 1975 and 1977 respectively. He receivedhis Ph D degree in 1993 from the same university. He has more than five years industrial experience in Bokaro Steel Plant in operation, maintenance and R & D in Instrumentation section. He joined the Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta as a Lecturer in 1984. Since then he is into academics with experience in teaching, R & D and research. He taught in the areas of Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical circuits, steel plant instrumentation, digital communication, fieldbus, microprocessors etc. He has published around seventy papers in international and national journals and conferences. His two books on Microprocessor and Instrumentation were published by New Age International, New Delhi, India. His latest two books – “Fieldbus and Networking in Process Automation” and “Industrial Automation Technologies” were published by CRC Press in 2014 and 2020 respectively. He is a reviewer of the journal Measurement, Elsevier. His current research interests are on new designs of ADCs and DACs. Third edition of the book on Microprocessor and the second edition of the book on Fieldbus will be published by the respective publishers in 2021. He has already reviewed six books. He is a member of BOS of several engineering colleges. He was a member of an R & D project (Ministry of steel) in association with MECON for RSP, Rourkela. He was coordinator of two R & D projects sponsored by AICTE and UGC and was HOD of the Department of Applied Physics and of USIC, University of Calcutta.

Dinh-Thuan Do (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M. Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from Vietnam National University (VNU-HCMC), in 2003, 2007, and 2013, respectively, all in communications engineering. He was a Visiting Ph.D. Student with the Communications Engineering Institute, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, from 2009 to 2010. Prior to joining Ton Duc Thang University, he was a Senior Engineer with VinaPhone Mobile Network, from 2003 to 2009. He was a founder of Wireless Communications Research Group funded by Ton Duc Thang University during period from 2016 to 2020. He was a supervisor for numerous Ph.D. students in the Ph.D. joint program managed by Ton Duc Thang University and Technical University of Ostrava (VSB), Czech Republic. Dr. Thuan was a recipient of Golden Globe Award from Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology in 2015 (Top 10 most excellent scientist nationwide). He currently works as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Asia University (Taiwan). His publications include over 80 SCIE-indexed journal articles, over 100 SCOPUS-indexed journal articles and international conference papers. He is sole author in one textbook and five book chaptera. His research interests include signal processing in wireless communications networks, NOMA, full-duplex transmission, and energy harvesting. He has served as a Guest Editor in Special Issue “UAV-enabled B5G/6G Networks: Emerging Trends and Challenges” PHYSICAL COMMUNICATION (Elservier) in 2021; a Lead Guest Editor in Special Issue “Power Domain Based Multiple Access Techniques in Sensor Networks” in INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF DISTRIBUTED SENSOR NETWORKS (IJDSN) in 2020; a Guest Editor in Special Issue “Massive sensors data fusion for health-care informatics”, ANNALS OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS (Springer) in 2020; a Lead Guest Editor in Special Issue "Recent Advances for 5G: Emerging Scheme of NOMA in Cognitive Radio and Satellite Communications", ELECTRONICS in 2019. He is currently serving as an Editor of COMPUTER COMMUNICATIONS (Elservier), an Associate Editor of EURASIP JOURNAL ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING (Springer), an Associate Editor of ELECTRONICS and an Editor of KSII TRANSACTIONS ON INTERNET AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS.

Dr. Angsuman Sarkar

Dr. Angsuman Sarkar is presently serving as a Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal. He had earlier served in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College & Kalyani Government Engineering College as Lecturer, Assistant Professor & Associate Professor of ECE department for more than 20 years. He received the M.Tech degree in VLSI & Microelectronics from Jadavpur University. He completed his Ph.D from Jadavpur University in 2013. His current research interest span around study of short channel effects of sub 100nm MOSFETs and nano device modeling. He is a a Senior Member of IEEE, Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Associate Life Member of Institution of Engineers (IE) India and currently serving as the Chairman of IEEE Electron Device Society, Kolkata Chapter. He has authored 5 books, many contributed book chapters, 68 journal papers in international refereed journals and 48 research papers in national and international conferences. He is a member of board of editors of various journals. He is reviewer of various international journals. He is currently supervising 6 Ph.D. scholars and has successfully guided 5 scholars as principal supervisor. He has delivered invited talk/tutorial speech/expert talk in various International Conference /technical programs. He has organized IEEE international conferences and several workshops/seminars.

Dr. Tanweer

Dr. Tanweer is working as Assistant Professor-Senior Scale in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He is an active researcher in the field of Wideband Antennas, Multiband Antennas, Metamaterial Antennas, Reconfigurable Antennas, MIMO Systems, Microwave Filter Design, Dielectric Resonator Antennas, Near Field Communications, Microwave Imaging etc. He has published more than 90 papers in reputed peer reviewed international journal and conferences and has filed 2 patents. According to google scholar he has an h-index of 14 and i10 index of 17 and according to Scopus he has an h-index of 14. He is an IEEE senior member (SMIEEE), and Associate Member of IETE India. Currently he is guiding six research scholars in the field of antenna engineering.
